OTR truck driver for car carriage (Colorado Springs)

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting cars safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Duties Operate a pick-up truck or other commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations. Load and unload cargo (cars) as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and any incidents that occur during transportation. Navigate routes effectively while adhering to delivery schedules. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered on the road. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record is advantageous. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is advantageous. Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading tasks is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Background check.
