Job Title: Sales Support & Marketing Specialist Location: Remote / Hybrid - Team based in North Smithfield, RI Reports To: Director, Wholesale Marketing The Role: This position plays a key role in the coordination and management of product and marketing information across Berroco and all partner brands (that we distribute), and subsequent communication to retailers and the Berroco sales team. Key Responsibilities Serve as main point of contact with all partner (distributed) brands for product information and sales materials. Responsible for creating retailer communications as part of B2B marketing role. Produce the weekly retailer newsletter (The Insider). Work with partner (distributed) brands to include relevant content for features and promotions to support their marketing calendars. Coordinate production of the biannual Berroco Yarn Catalog with the Local Crafts creative team. Responsible for retailer and sales rep materials. Act as main point of contact for sales reps and retailers for brand and product related questions. Manage/create sales materials for sales reps each season and ongoing including digital assets in Dropbox; also maintain digital assets for retailers across all brands. Assemble and distribute samples for for sales representatives across all brands. Responsible for annual h&h trade show organization and execution in collaboration with Local Crafts events manager. Responsible for annual sales meeting organization in coordination with General Manager. Respond to retailer requests for digital pattern and yarn images. Responsible for organizing trunk show garments for retailers and coordinating the schedule with customer service. Manage the Retailer PDF program with monthly updates and reminders to retailers for reports and payments. Coordinate graphic design of sales and retailer materials (product bag inserts, kits flyers, postcards etc.) with Local Crafts Creative team. Responsible for reporting monthly PDF pattern sales. Requirements 3+ years in marketing or sales support role. Genuine team player. Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Upbeat, “can do” attitude is a must! The starting pay range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000 per year. Ability to read and interpret insurance documents and retain information for future use. Skilled in writing reports and professional correspondence. Strong interpersonal skills; able to manage difficult conversations tactfully. Effective communicator and problem-solver. Proficient in computer and technology use. Capable of maintaining strong agency and internal relationships. Organized, deadline-oriented, and innovation-driven. Valid driver’s license with a driving record meeting Company insurance guideline.
