Description

Sincere is looking for a seasoned Public Relations Manager to join our growing team on a long-term contract. You will set the vision, drive our earned media strategy, and elevate the reputation and visibility of our entire family of brands – Punchbowl, Lovebird, Timehop, and Memento – as well as Sincere. This is a part-time role that will report directly to the CMO, and is ideal for a high-performing individual who can operate as a true extension of our internal team. We’re looking for someone who’s eager to jump into Slack, actively participate in internal meetings, occasionally visit us at HQ, and join us at our annual team summits. In this role, you will:  Develop, lead & execute a forward-thinking public relations strategy for our family of brands Secure earned media, increase our share of voice, and drive brand discovery Cultivate strong relationships with top-tier journalists, editors, and industry influencers Craft compelling narratives, messaging frameworks, press releases, and other communication materials Spearhead PR initiatives for product launches, company events, and milestones Partner with key executives to identify thought leadership opportunities, secure speaking engagements, and interviews Measure campaign effectiveness & impact; provide updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership Work closely with brand marketing, social, and content teams to amplify messaging and ensure consistency You have: 8+ years experience in public/media relations with 3+ years in a leadership or solo role A proven track record of securing top-tier national press coverage The ability to work autonomously and drive strategic initiatives from concept to execution A big-picture vision paired with outstanding day-to-day tactical execution Outstanding writing skills, with a flair for crafting clear, persuasive, and on-brand narratives Meticulous attention to detail  Impeccable communication and organizational skills A high level of energy and passion — ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment BONUS: Expertise in both the tech and lifestyle media landscapes A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for occasional in-person time with our team

Experience in Commercial Lines underwriting is preferred. 5–7 years as a marketing representative is preferred. Ideally working with independent agencies in Central Massachusetts. Ability to read and interpret insurance documents and retain information for future use. Skilled in writing reports and professional correspondence. Strong interpersonal skills; able to manage difficult conversations tactfully. Effective communicator and problem-solver. Proficient in computer and technology use. Capable of maintaining strong agency and internal relationships. Organized, deadline-oriented, and innovation-driven. Valid driver’s license with a driving record meeting Company insurance guideline.
