IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Microbiologist position at its facility in Modesto, CA. Ideal candidates will possess the following: • A BS or BA in the biological sciences or related field (required) • Proficiency with data entry and computer applications • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory Microbiologist duties include: analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, media preparation, and other duties as assigned. The pay rate for this position is $22.00 hourly. This is a full-time position and is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, 401(k), health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 6 paid holidays per year. POSITION SUMMARY: The Archaeologist plays a key leadership role in supporting archaeological fieldwork, Section 106 compliance, and cultural resource documentation for the long-term development of the West Susitna Access Road project. This role works closely with the Knik Lead Archaeologist, Project Manager, and Field Supervisor to assess and document cultural sites while assisting with technology-driven survey improvements. With a focus on collaboration and professional growth, the Archaeologist will refine methodologies, enhance digital workflows, and ensure field efficiency in cultural site documentation. After appropriate training, independently perform all responsibilities listed on the Integrated Pest Management Assistant job description as well as any goals or tasks assigned. Support Sanctuary Medicinals Mission Statement in all job-related functions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Complete projects accurately and by deadline as assigned, promptly communicating with IPM coordinator when unable to do so. 2.Participate in IPM department educational outreach programs at Four Star Greenhouse to result in an educated workforce that can accurately identify pests and diseases. 3.Scout Cultivation/Propagation Grow Rooms for insect and disease pressure. Accurately relay this information back to the IPM Supervisor and help disseminate information to the appropriate section grower/s. 4. Ensure that weekly treatments applications/sprays are completed on time and accurately while adhering to all Sanctuary Medicinals protocols 5. Ensure Biological Control Organisms (BIOS) are properly placed in and applied to crops. 6. Take accurate and timely readings of sticky traps and record findings in database. 7. Participate in projects that help the IPM department. 8.
