Entry level position available in a facility manufacturing human medicines and the materials that go into them. We are a small startup contract manufacturer of excipients and medicines. The responsibilities assigned to you on a day-to-day basis will vary, so you will gain experience with many aspects of Quality Control in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Working schedule may vary and is 40-hours per week with opportunities for overtime. Depending on the needs of the organization your tasks may include: 1. Collect samples and test materials to determine adherence to established specifications for raw materials, in-process samples and finished products. 2. Assist in troubleshooting testing and production processes 3. Participate in analytical method development and transfer of methods. Methods may include: a. Standard bench chemistry techniques b. HPLC c. pH d. Osmolality e. Viscosity f. Others per client needs 4. Perform environmental monitoring of classified areas per established procedures 5.
