Position Overview As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations across our restaurant locations and breweries. You will lead a team of technicians and assistants, manage preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the maintenance department, including hiring, training, and performance management of maintenance supervisors and technicians. • Actively perform maintenance and technician responsibilities as needed. • Develop and implement strategic maintenance plans to ensure the efficient operation of kitchen equipment and facilities, including preventive maintenance schedules, equipment upgrades, and replacement plans. • Collaborate with kitchen management and other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and allocate resources effectively to minimize disruptions to operations. • Manage maintenance budgets, including forecasting expenses, tracking expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities through efficiency improvements and vendor negotiations. • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to equipment safety, sanitation, and environmental standards. • Implement and maintain a robust asset management program, including accurate records of equipment maintenance histories, inventory management, and warranty tracking. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance, reliability, and energy efficiency, leveraging data analytics and industry best practices. • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability within the maintenance team, promoting adherence to established policies, procedures, and safety protocols. • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes in maintenance management, and implement relevant innovations to enhance departmental effectiveness. • Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect. Qualifications • Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role, preferably in the food and beverage industry. • Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems, tools, and techniques. • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with various teams, effectively interface with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as experience with HVAC, refrigeration, and food service equipment. • Proficiency in maintenance management software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), as well as word processors and spreadsheet programs. • Demonstrated track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement. • Professional certifications such as Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) are preferred. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
