Santa Fe Art Collector Needs An Organizer / Personal Assistant (Santa Fe)
P5R5+WH Santa Fe, NM, USA
Do you like to work alone? Do you communicate well? Do you like to travel? Can you finish what you started? My family and I own an art appraisal business here in Santa Fe. We have a house, a warehouse, and seven storage lockers full of art, furniture, memorabilia, photographs, and trash. We need to hire an Organizer / Personal Assistant. The objective is to get rid of the trash, sell half of the collections, and organize what we keep. We’ll pay you to catalog our items and either donate them to museums or sell them at auction. We need an Organizer / Personal Assistant who’s curious about art history and the art market. This is not a hobby. If you can’t concentrate, please don’t apply. If you don’t know how to be discreet, please don’t apply. If you like to concentrate and enjoy being productive, there’s enough work here to keep you busy for the next three or four years. We also need to publicize our appraisal business, on and off line. If you’re proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, and Planoly, that will help. If you like to learn, and bring authentic enthusiasm to what you do, we’ll pay you a premium salary for those qualities. Responsibilities will include mundane work like paying bills, and reaching out to health care companies, insurance companies, and utilities. You’ll deal with attorneys, contractors, electricians, locksmiths, security companies, and web designers. You’ll travel to auctions, art shows, galleries, and museums. This is not a remote job, a side hustle, or part-time work. It’s a full-time executive position for a person who appreciates the difference between working hard and working smart. We can afford a skilled candidate. If you’re already in the art market, or in interior design, this is a chance to get paid for the way you see things. You won‘t be paid by the hour. You’ll be paid a monthly salary. You name and resume information will be kept confidential. Thank you for your interest in this position.
