Established, Working Cover Band Seeking New Lead Vocalist! CarTune Heroes is a five-piece established cover band performing the biggest rock and dance hits from the 1960s through today! We have always been a female-fronted band, but what’s most important about our new lead vocalist frontperson is that they are a great fit for what we do. Are you that person? Who we are searching for: • Male or female lead vocalist • Committed team-player • Experience and comfort singing a wide variety of hits spanning several decades from a long list of famous bands and musicians – as those songs were originally written and performed • A working knowledge of what it means to be the frontperson of a band like ours – professional vocals emulating the original style of the songs we pay tribute to and professional interactions and engagement with fans, patrons, other band members, and venue personnel • Ability to sing harmonies • Desire to perform many Friday and/or Saturday evenings/nights, with occasional weekday evenings and Sundays • Ability to commit to a schedule; we typically perform anywhere from 2-6 (sometimes more) times per month, depending on the season and special events • A frontperson who understands that fans and patrons “listen with their eyes” and is fully engaged to putting on a show each and every time we perform • A professional who does not have other conflicting commitments, has reliable transportation for all shows, and who will prioritize the band schedule • Willingness to use in-ear monitors • We take our musicianship, vocals, sound, appearance, and lighting very seriously – every venue, every crowd, and every fan deserves a professional show! • Please visit our website (https://cartuneheroes.com/) to see videos, photos, and a current song list.
