We're currently looking for a Experienced Ergonomist to join our growing team of engineering and ergonomics professionals. Details about the role are as follows: Successful candidates will have the following attributes A qualified and professional manner and appearance, outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and competent customer-facing representation Experience in business communication, including giving formal presentations, creating reports and professional documents (e.g. meeting agendas, meeting minutes, etc.) Ability to establish priorities, work both independently and with a team Working knowledge of NIOSH single and multi-lift equations, Liberty Mutual Tables, ACGIH Hand Intensive TLV, RULA, REBA, Digital Human Modeling, Motion Capture Technologies RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct physical demands analyses, ergonomic risk analyses on single jobs, production lines, or entire plants Perform ergonomic assessments using standard ergonomic analysis tools and/or using Digital Human Modeling software and complete detailed technical reports Provide assembly plant ergonomic support to identify and prioritize ergonomic risks, conduct ergonomic risk assessments and provide recommendations on elimination of risk. Perform virtual assessment of Ergonomic risk utilizing such software systems as Teamcenter, Process Simulate, and/or Jack, and provide recommendations for improvements Develop ergonomic specifications and standards through literature review, research, and ergonomic analysis Requirements B.S. or M.S. in Kinesiology, Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, Occupational Biomechanics, Ergonomics or a related discipline Associate Ergonomics Professional (AEP), Associate Ergonomist (AE) certification, or Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) is an asset Minimum of 1-2 years of industrial ergonomics or a passion to learn and grow in the industry Relocation to Tennessee to follow project Must be able to work in various locations within assigned region Ability to work independently with no or limited supervision Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Control Risks’ Embedded Consulting team is looking for a Business Continuity Analyst to help support a Fortune 100 client's corporate business continuity program focused on the Americas region. The analyst will be in charge of executing the business continuity plans as put together by the Head of Business Continuity and Business Continuity Regional Managers. This position will require the candidate to be onsite 5 days a week in one of the following locations: Houston, TX, NYC, NY, Seattle, WA Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Executing the BC strategy as developed by the Head of Corporate BC and Regional BC managers. Working with regional business teams to conduct business impact and risk assessments, identify critical services, define recovery objectives, and map critical dependencies. Working with business teams to document BC plan needs in Corporate Continuity tool to drive consistency and attestation. Partnering with the Business, and Global Real Estate and Facilities team to coordinate recovery strategies as identified through the Business Continuity planning process.
