Wholesale Bakery Operations Manager (Full-Time) (Milford, MA)

We are a growing wholesale bakery seeking a hands-on, organized, and dependable Operations Manager to oversee our afternoon/evening shift. This role is key to ensuring smooth production and delivery preparation, managing people, and keeping our wholesale clients satisfied. 🧰 Key Responsibilities: • Call customers daily to confirm and collect wholesale orders • Collate all orders and provide accurate counts to the production team • Supervise bread production and packing to ensure quality and accuracy • Oversee sorting and staging of bread per delivery route • Support and coordinate with drivers for smooth order dispatch • Create and manage employee work schedules for production and delivery staff • Ensure cleanliness, efficiency, and workflow in the bakery during shift • Serve as a key point of contact between customers, staff, and management • Willing to act as a back up driver, if needed, is a plus. 🕐 Schedule: • Five days a week: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday • Shift: Approximately 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM ✅ Requirements: • Experience in bakery, food service, or production management preferred • Strong leadership and team supervision skills • Excellent phone and communication etiquette • Solid organizational and multitasking abilities • Basic computer and scheduling skills • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to lift up to 50 lbs 💵 Compensation: • Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) • Long-term growth opportunity within the company
