Description

Responsible for preparation of high-quality food in a consistent, timely, and sanitary manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare a variety of food items using various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Consistently adhere to standardized portion sizes, quality standards, kitchen guidelines, and standard operating procedures. Set up, stock, and maintain assigned stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality standards for are met. Ensure food items are prepared following proper timing standards. Follow proper plate presentation and garnishment standards for all dishes. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, reach-in cooler, and walk-in cooler. Additional Responsibilities Keep work area neat and organized. Conduct self in a professional manner at all times. Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions. Maintain a good working relationship with all departments. Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the Employee Handbook. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Physical Demands Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
