The ideal candidate is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. A commitment to exceeding customer expectations are key for this position. Key Responsibilities: * Process incoming flowers by cutting, hydrating, and treating them prior to storage; verify product count against invoices. * Review and inspect incoming perishable products for quality and freshness. * Perform regular inventory counts and report results to the Floral Department Manager. * Assist with flower and product procurement. * Process blooming and green plants upon arrival and verify counts against invoices. * Check in new products and supplies, updating inventory accordingly. * Learn flower and greenery names and care requirements. * Perform daily quality control to ensure freshness and longevity of inventory. * Rotate stock, maintain cooler displays, and clean flower coolers regularly. * Clean vases, buckets, and work areas; maintain overall organization. * Stock shelves and put away supplies. * Deliver flowers and run errands as needed. * Assist with general warehouse duties and other responsibilities as assigned. The right candidate is: * Dependable and punctual * Detail-oriented and organized * Accountable and a strong team player * Comfortable in a fast-paced environment * Able to lift 30–60 lbs and perform physical work including standing, bending, and kneeling * No prior floral experience is required — we’re happy to train the right person who’s eager to grow with us!
