Trip Highlights ⭐【Outdoor Experience】Experience the traditional mode of transportation on snowy terrain and enjoy endless fun in Alaska's winter landscape Itinerary: Fairbanks – Dog Sledding Experience Center – Fairbanks (round-trip hotel transportation included, total journey approximately 2 hours) Trip Details: Depart from designated hotel in the morning. Leslie, a local Alaskan resident, will lead your dog sledding adventure! Originally from the continental United States, Leslie moved to Alaska 20 years ago. This passionate dog lover started with just two Alaskan huskies and has since expanded into a full-scale dog sledding experience and cultural demonstration center housing up to 50 dogs. As Alaska’s annual sporting event—the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race—gained global popularity, Leslie opened her sled dog training grounds to train young mushers and offer tourists authentic dog sledding experiences. The income generated supports preparations for international dog sledding competitions. She is widely respected in the community for supporting young mushers and helping them raise funds. While waiting for your sledding turn, you’ll have the chance to interact closely with these adorable dogs. Here, you'll personally experience the exhilarating joy of gliding across Alaska’s snowy wilderness (approximately 20–25 minutes)! The sled dogs run in pairs, with lead dogs guiding the way and stronger dogs near the sled providing power. Two travelers ride together under the guidance of a musher, as the sled races along forest trails, sending sprays of white snow flying—truly thrilling and exciting! Special Note: From September to early November, when snowfall is insufficient, dog sledding will be replaced with a dog-pulled ATV experience. The musher will use soft harnesses connected by ropes to attach the dog team to a four-wheeled ATV instead of a sled, lasting approximately 10 minutes. Cost Information What's Included 1.
