Personal Care Assistant Needed: $67,000/year

Clinical Social Worker and Mom who uses a wheelchair seeking full-time, live-in personal care assistant (PCA) to help with all activities of daily living. The PCA lives-in while working and lives-out during days off. Pays $5,600 per month. The PCA is responsible for working an average of 14 to 15 days per month and gets paid $2,800 pre-tax bi-weekly. Typical schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off. This position offers multiple benefits including PTO accrual, time-and-a-half holiday pay, travel opportunities, and gym access while working. This is a permanent position. Once routines are completed, there is a flexible schedule with many opportunities for downtime. Downtime can be used for studying, freelance work, hobbies, etc. Constant supervision is not required. Located in a safe neighborhood with many bus stops within a five-minute walk, and a beautiful park right across the street. There is a Starbucks and grocery store within a five-minute walk. I am a working professional with a very active lifestyle. The assistant helps with all activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, housekeeping, animal care, driving, and meal prep.
