We are looking for a skilled and dedicated butcher to join our team and deliver exceptional service in the meat section while adhering to halal standards. Responsibilities: • Prepare, cut, trim, and process various types of meats (beef, lamb, chicken, etc.) according to halal guidelines. • Ensure proper handling and storage of all meat products to maintain freshness and quality. • Assist customers by fulfilling specific meat-cutting requests, providing product recommendations, and answering questions about halal practices. • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the meat section, cutting tools, and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards. • Monitor inventory levels of meat products and inform management of restocking needs. • Package, label, and display meat products for retail sale, ensuring accuracy and compliance with store standards. • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations in the meat department. Requirements: • Prior experience as a butcher or in meat processing is preferred. • Knowledge of halal guidelines and practices is required. • Strong knife skills and the ability to work with precision and efficiency. • Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and storage standards. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks, including lifting heavy items. • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or varied shifts as needed.
