Sign Installer Job Description: Seeking Career Minded Professionals for Sign & Graphics Field Tech Positions – Make Up to $60K Per Year Summary of Position: Are you looking for a fun career where you can continue to learn and grow? The Sign & Graphics Installer role is a field technician position responsible for the accurate installation of projects according to work order specifications within a stated timeline. This person will also be responsible for specified sign order deliveries. Additionally, the Sign & Graphics Installer will assist with on-site signage inspection and sign measuring tasks. This employee will be responsible for maintaining a neat and organized work area while serving the company in a professional manner. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience installing various types of signs is preferred but not required. Working knowledge of sign substrates, installation hardware, adhesions and equipment is a plus. Professional, upbeat, positive attitude with a sharp attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Skillsets: • Ability to accurately apply vinyl and mechanical signs, graphics and lettering. • Application of wide format vinyl murals to windows, walls and floors. • Must be able to assess the scope of work and follow work orders efficiently. • Must be prepared for all aspects of a job. • General knowledge of hardware and safe use of hand tools and power tools. • Problem solving skills and the ability to evaluate, diagnose and repair electrical signs is a major plus. • Ability to climb ladders, work out of a bucket truck (or lift) and be comfortable with heights. • Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling and lifting (up to 75 lbs). • Must be able to read work orders and follow instructions. • Constant attention to improving and promoting quality. • Good communication skills – both oral and written. • Must be able to work extended hours including evening / night hours when necessary. • Occasional overnight stays to complete out-of-town installations. • Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and reliable personal transportation. • Comply with various safety standards as set forth by clients and industries. • Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines. Screenings: • Must be willing to consent to drug and background screening and must be able to pass. • Motor Vehicle Report Review (driving record) • Must be willing to be trained in other areas of the business and perform other projects and tasks as assigned.
