Studio work based in West LA w/ Travel opportunities for installation gigs across the U.S. Part-time: hourly + flexible in LA with day rates during out of town 2-14 day installation periods. Responsibilities - Read plans, assist with studio fabrication, assembly, shipping, cleaning, and organization. - Prepare and pack artworks for shipping and installation - Occasionally do pick ups, drive large trucks and trailers - Assembly and installation of sculptures - use power tools, ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, comfortable on ladders and lifts - Maintain safety and quality standards in all tasks. OSHA certifications are a plus - Operating forklifts and telehandlers is a plus. Experience - Familiarity with sculpture assembly, building art crates or packing large-scale artworks. - Experience with event/festival production or live event rigging. - Experience with DMX lighting and programming is a plus.
