Date: 7/24/2025 To: All Qualified Applicants Job Title: Music / Choir Teacher Description: The Village School seeks a Music / Choir Teacher for grades 2-5 students beginning in the 2025-2026 School Year. This position is 8 hours per week. Additional hours are available for after school programs, student performances and staff meetings. Qualifications: • Experience teaching choir or music with children in group settings. • Ability to communicate clearly and positively with children and adults. • Oregon Teaching License is a plus. • Waldorf experience is a plus. • Knowledge of classroom management skills. • Willingness to get CPR training • Fingerprinting/Background check required Hourly Range: $30.00 – $45.01, depending on education and years of experience, plus variable retention-based compensation, and our healthy lunch.
