Great Opportunity for Someone Looking for Additional Income and/or Anyone Working at Valley River Center! The Maintenance and Repair Technician is a part-time position which requires 1 visit/week of approximately 2 hours (during non business hours) at the Valley River Center mall to maintain the strollers and stroller vending unit. Additionally, this position will travel to USPS locations (mileage reimbursement) to repair and perform preventive maintenance on our locker systems. This position has direct responsibility for the strollers at the mall to include:, equipment maintenance and cleaning, cash collection/accounting and reporting, and relationship management.  The Location Manager reports to the District Service Manager.  There is approximately 20 USPS locations within the central Oregon area that will require at least one visit per month.  Visits to the USPS locations generally take 10-15 minutes per visit; travel time to USPS locations is also paid.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   Valley River Center requires 1 visit/week (potentially more if equipment is inoperable). Work performed is tracked through an app submitted on each visit (candidate will need to own a smart phone).         Working knowledge of equipment and ability to perform maintenance and repairs.         Maintain clean equipment at all times (strollers are cleaned on every visit).         Perform collections accurately, bank and report financial transactions as directed by District Service Manager.         Submit reports in an accurate and timely manner.         Understand work rules and the expectations of the facility and Smarte Carte.         Maintain regular contact with District Service Manager.         Ensure a safe working environment by ensuring all equipment is in good repair and working as designed.         Interact with facility management (mall management), to establish and maintain good rapport and excellent working relationships.         Manage location in accordance with applicable state and federal laws and Smarte Carte and facility policies and procedures.         Ability to pass necessary reference and background checks/credit checks and badging requirements.         Other assignments as needed.     EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS   Electrical and mechanical equipment repair skills.         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.         Ability to maintain records, write reports, and effectively operate a computer with a Windows operating system.     EDUCATION   Technical Degree or similar preferred     LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS   Valid Driver's license required         Ability to get USPS badge required (background check, drug screen)     PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS   Physical ability to lift 40 lbs. to waist height         Apply a force of approximately 75-100 lbs.         Bend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time         Visual acuity/manual dexterity to perform mechanical and electrical repairs   Experience Required   Smart phone proficient, ability to use a computer and work with reports         Electrical and mechanical equipment repair skills   Education Preferred   Technical/other training or better   Licenses & Certifications Required   Drivers License   Skills Required   Reporting         Computer         Cleaning         Troubleshooting         Attention to detail         Prioritizing         Time Management         Customer Service         Communication   Behaviors Required   Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity         Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Preferred   Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest   Motivations Required   Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help   Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws. We are a company that is headquartered in Florida for over 30 years. We have marketing campaigns in many cities and The City of Albuquerque is brand new to us! What I need is for someone to check up on the inventory we have in storage there, and report that information back to the corporate office. We have "Bahamas Vacation" official registration locations around the area in local Shopping malls. I need someone to stop by these locations, and make sure the registration stand is in good working order. In most cases they would just need a little TLC. Each locations registration stand should be: * Wiped down clean * Make sure there is a working pen attached to each stand * Make sure there are enough blank entry cards for the customers to fill out * Retrieve all the filled out entry cards from each location * Mail them to our corporate office in Florida An average day should not take more than 6 hours. I cannot express how important it is to us that you take pride in helping us out. That is why we are willing to pay around $20/hr for your assistance.
