đŸ› ïž Part-Time Handyman Needed – 20 Hrs/Week + On-Call for Emergencies Compensation:$25/hour $2,000/month minimum (based on 20 hours/week) ***Additional hours often available $15 gas stipend per trip to Delray Beach and Miami properties Paid weekly via Zelle Employment Type: Part-Time (Independent Contractor) Start Date: Immediate Local rental properties are seeking a reliable, experienced handyman to help maintain and service six commercial and residential vacation rental properties across South Florida — including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Dania Beach, and Delray Beach. This is a long-term, part-time position (20 hours/week minimum), with on-call emergency availability required. You must be able to respond immediately to guest emergencies — no exceptions. 🛠 Responsibilities include: - General handyman repairs and property maintenance - Drywall patching and painting - Assembling furniture as needed - Troubleshooting appliances (fridges, washing machines, etc.) - Unclogging toilets and minor plumbing repairs - AC filter cleaning and maintenance (monthly for all properties) - Managing trash/recycling on different property schedules - Light electrical repairs - Keeping checklists and managing TO DO lists for each location - Communicating clearly and sending photos of all work via company group chat 📍 Locations Covered: - 2 in South Fort Lauderdale - 2 in Dania Beach - 1 in Coral Gables (Miami) — $15 gas bonus per trip - 1 in Delray Beach — $15 gas bonus per trip ✅ Requirements: - Must live in or near Fort Lauderdale for convenient access - Must have basic tools and reliable transportation - Able to work independently and follow a flexible, self-managed schedule - Must be reachable and responsive at all times for emergency calls - Previous handyman or property maintenance experience required - Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform hands-on physical labor - Detail-oriented and communicative, with a professional work ethic This is a great opportunity for someone looking for stable part-time work, with room to grow and extra hours often available.
