THE HERITAGE PUB is hiring for a cook/bar back. Must have a valid food handler's card and OLCC server permit. This job includes cooking, prepping, relieving bartenders as needed, dish-washing and general cleaning. Any culinary schooling/experience is a plus. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting, be a self-starter and self-motivated, and have a positive attitude with outstanding customer service.

Iconic Fine Dining Asian Fusion Restaurant Opening Now!! The iconic Roppongi Restaurant & Lounge is re-opening its doors to serve La Jolla the best Asian Fusion menu in San Diego! We are seeking an EXPERIENCED LEAD LINE COOK to work in Balboa Park at Panama 66. **You MUST be able to work Nights and Weekends** 5 shifts per week. We pay $23-24 an hour and this position earns tips. Tips are on average another $9 an hour. To be considered for this position, you must have been an actual LEAD PREVIOUSLY FOR AT LEAST A YEAR. Working a station/preparing all food items to order, following recipes and procedures Ensuring all food leaving the kitchen is up to our standards Following all safety and sanitation guidelines Communicating with your Management Team thoroughly Being honest and keeping a calm demeanor Restocking / Prepping items that are/were depleted during the shift
 Ensuring food is properly stored in containers and storage areas including labeling and dating procedures
 Performing duties in other areas of the kitchen as required Maintaining and properly using all kitchen equipment including but not exclusive to fryers, blenders, food processors, mixers Supporting the Team whenever needed (e.g, call-outs, catering, etc.) Assisting with the deep cleaning schedule Requirements include: Minimum of 2 years’ restaurant industry experience working on the line

Our longtime dish guru Mikey is moving away and while it will be hard to replace him, we must try! But I cannot stress this enough: you must be reliable and have experience. We pay you hourly $19 an hour to start plus tips which average about $8-9 an hour for a total of $26.50-29.50 an hour. But you must be EXPERIENCED with both hand washing and using commercial dishwashing machines. You must work clean, fast and be kind.
