Mad Science is the world's leading provider of fun science programs for elementary-aged children. This is a part-time position and is somewhat seasonal. Pay for all Areas of Business (AOB) is hourly - including set-up and clean-up time.  Starting pay is $22.00-$26.00 per hour DOE, plus mileage compensation!! We are looking for HIGHLY ENERGETIC, DYNAMIC AND CONFIDENT individuals to join our growing team to conduct exciting science, engineering, and technology programs. You do NOT need to be a certified teacher (although we love that!). Responsibilities: - Facilitating day camps, in-person workshops, and after-school science enrichment programs for children from preschool through elementary school - Deliver high-energy, part entertainment, part education, hands-on programs that meet for one hour each week for approximately 8-12 weeks. - Drive to various locations across Los Angeles counties - Enjoy teaching young children the art of science! - Attend paid training sessions virtually or at our office. - Attend the mandatory Friday Staff Meeting every week (paid). - Be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. - Be on time for all scheduled activities. - Adhere to strict safety and cleanliness guidelines.
