CNC Operator Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. The CNC Operator will ensure that all operations are performed efficiently and safely while adhering to quality standards. Duties Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and production schedules. Machines used are HAAS 3 Axis Horizontal and Vertical Milling Machines. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements. Program CNC machines using appropriate software and logic controllers. Conduct regular inspections of finished products using tools such as calipers and gauges to ensure precision. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve issues. Handle materials safely, ensuring proper storage and organization in the workspace. Fabricate parts as needed, following established protocols for tooling and machining. Skills Must be able to troubleshoot dimensional issues. Strong mechanical knowledge, including understanding of machine operations and tooling. Ability to handle materials effectively, ensuring safety and efficiency in the workspace. Experience in machining processes, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Attention to detail with a focus on quality control measures.
