Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate openings for Weekend Shift Assemblers. Work Scheduled will be • Weekend Shift Friday, Saturday & Sunday 5:30am-6pm (3 x 12 hour shift week, OT is available) - $25.80/hr Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities) Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment. Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairing units or products that have failed to meet requirements. • This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education or training. • The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. • Technical knowledge required is limited to the tasks performed in own discipline area and is considered basic. • The tasks are generally routine and manual. • The job is expected to follow detailed and defined rules / instructions and to make simple judgement in straightforward situations. • Typically requires selecting between solutions already established. Requirements • This job requires proficient PC experience with Microsoft Suite and ability to learn new software. • Minimum High School Diploma or GED Required • Experience must show tenure and commitment to past jobs • Assembly work of past medical device or Electromechanical devices is highly desired. • Must have reliable transportation - public transportation not available for this shift • Pre-employment criminal background check and 9-panel drug test is required IF INTERESTED PLEASE RESOPND/SEND YOUR RESUME AND PHONE NUMBER.

Here’s what you’ll be doing: • Receive work orders with production instructions and work with our Tool & Die and Materials Teams to get the brake press and the work station ready for production. • Inspect the set-up and run quality tests on the brake press. • Run the Brake Press while monitoring quality, consistency, and compliance of the parts being produced. • Troubleshoot production issues and adjust the set-up to fulfill the requirements of the work order. • Log work order progress and provide information to Quality, as requested. • Remove the tool and reset the brake press set-up for the next work order. • Be flexible and versatile to fill-in in other areas to meet the needs of ever-changing bottlenecks. You’ll love this job if you have/are: • 5 – 10 years of experience in the metal manufacturing industry, preferably in a job shop environment • 5 – 8 years of experience operating a brake press, preferably an Amada • 3+ years of experience completing set-ups on brake presses, preferably an Amada • Committed to contributing to the team effort • Flexible and willing to assist the team in other areas when needed Position Details: • Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm or 4:30pm – 3:00am • Wage Range: $25 - $35 / hour 2nd Shift offers up to 10% shift differential.
