This includes managing the permit and inspection process and adherence to all building code compliance • Lead enforcement in adhering to OSHA and the company’s safety policies to ensure a safe work environment • Identify project risk factors, then manage and mitigate them to ensure the construction project is completed on time and budget • Assist the Project manager in creating cost estimates for specific project needs • Assists with the bidding, awarding, and procurement of subcontractors and suppliers • Collaborate with clients, architects/engineers, developers and other construction management personnel to keep the project on budget and schedule • Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers • Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient REQUIREMENTS • Minimum 4 years of construction field experience. • Background in Retail or Residential construction is a benefit • 30 Hours OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment. • In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations. • Advanced ability to read building blueprints and ability to interpret construction plans and specifications. • Understanding construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues. • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines. • Detail focused and results driven. • Effective computer skills such as Procore, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Etc. • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
