Job Summary: Under the direction of the Assignments Supervisor, the Flagperson protects personnel and equipment while working on or near the tracks. The Flagperson uses various types of equipment, such as flags, whistles, discs, lights and two-way radios to ensure the safe passage of trains. The Flagperson duties primarily consist of three assignments, Switch Tender, Watchperson and Flagperson. The Switch Tender manipulates switches and signals train operators when proper switch alignment is provided. The Watchperson is charged with monitoring approaching trains and alerting work crews to clear the track of men and equipment. Will work on the cold environment (Cooler and Freezer) Will work with meat products and food products Activities - Organize orders, checking documents information. - Move products within the warehouse using pallet jacks or other equipment. - Prepare, label, and pack orders for delivery, ensuring proper handling and conditions. - Count and verify incoming and outgoing products. Qualifications - Experience in a warehouse, inventory, order fulfillment, mandatory. - Able to work on the cold environment and with meat products in general. - Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. - Must be able to move boxes between 50-70lbs when necessary
