Responsible for greeting and seating guests, taking reservations and answering phones at Filberts Farmhouse Kitchen located in Aurora, Oregon. Essential Functions: • Greet guests, escort them to tables or appropriate waiting area, provide menus and communicate the guest arrival to the server. • Record table status accordingly based on seating and server assignment charts. • Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. as needed. • Demonstrate excellent communication skills including telephone etiquette. • Communicate special guest needs to servers and restaurant supervisors. • Collect and maintain cleanliness of menus throughout the restaurant. • Maintain communication with management, kitchen staff, service staff and guests to ensure dining details are handled properly and guest concerns are addressed. • Keep work area clean and organized. • Conduct self in a professional manner at all times. • Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions. • Maintain a good working relationship with all departments. • Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook. We are a large family owned meat production and distributor facility in Clackamas, OR. We are currently looking for an experience Meat Cutter to work on our Steak Line. Responsibilities include: Remove fat and trim from steak primal cuts. Fill out paperwork which includes temperatures, times, and weights. Use a barcode scanner to input carton data. Occasionally operate packing machine, open boxes and vacuum sealed bags. Occasionally left up to 60# boxes. Maintain equipment and PPE. English and Spanish preferred. Monday - Thursday with occasional Friday work. 7:00am to 6:00pm. 4 x 10hr. shifts. $17-$19/hr. to start. Actual scale is higher.
