1999 Subaru Forrester - $500 (Harvey)

1999 Subaru Forrester. The good: Has been my daily driver for the past few years. Always starts and runs. AWD gets thru anything. Only 151,000 miles. New speakers and replacement seat covers included. The bad: The brakes were good when I parked it a month ago. Now super soft. Maybe a brake line? Tranny spools a bit in second when hauling up a hill. Exhaust has a leak at the hanger before the muffler. Some body rust from 25 plus years of UP weather. The “paint job “ was an art project/social experiment. Got many an interesting comment. It is all vinyl so can be removed with a little alcohol and elbow grease. Paint under it was good. The first person to give me $1 more than the scrap price will have a trusty runner that need some love and a new home.
