We are a full-service trailer dealership including parts, service, sales, and leasing. We are looking for Trailer Mechanics to join our team and help deliver outstanding customer experience! The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a mechanic/technician in the trailer industry. Carpentry, welding, electrical, and mechanical skills are a plus. We are looking for a self-motivated person with a strong work ethic. We are willing to train the right applicants. Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Preventative maintenance and repair all systems on Semi-Trailers to meet the standards set forth by DOT. • Remove and replace brakes, brake drums, hubs, seals, bearings, braces, and associated parts. • Repair electrical and lighting systems. • Repair or replace chassis components such as springs, spring hangers, equalizers, complete slider assemblies, axles, and sub frames. • Repair mud flap brackets and dolly leg assembly. • Repair or replace flooring, rub rails, doors, and door trim. • Repair roofs, panels, nose panels, lower and upper rails. • Conform to all safety and health standards Requirements. • The ability to lift up to 100 pounds. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb, and / or sit frequently. throughout the duration of the day. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Attention to detail and highly organized. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Body Technician located in Los Lunas, NM. The Automotive Body Technician will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance, repairing collision damage, and auto body work. Day-to-day tasks include assessing damage, developing repair plans, welding, sanding, and refinishing surfaces. The technician will also be required to adhere to safety protocols and ensure high-quality workmanship.
