Bison Ridge Construction, LLC is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators with at least 3 years experience. Must have experience installing underground wet utilities including water, sewer, and storm systems. Equipment experience should include excavators, front end loaders, dozers, compactors, skid steers, etc. Bison Ridge Construction has been delivering full-service general contracting and construction management services for residential and commercial land development projects since 2010. Duties and Responsibilities • Drive, operate and maneuver heavy equipment • Read and understand plans and specifications • Read and properly interpret survey grade stakes • Always operate equipment safely including operating equipment in the vicinity of underground and overhead utilities (communication, power, natural gas, etc.) to avoid damage and injury • Properly maintain equipment including daily pre and post inspections and daily greasing • Safely operate power tools (demo saws, compaction equipment, generators, air compressors, etc.) • Work safely at all times, observing all company policies, OSHA Regulations, and site-specific requirements and policies • Must have a collaborative attitude and willingness to perform any work that is required including general labor tasks which may include shoveling, lifting, etc. • Must be able to work overtime including Saturdays • Competent Person Training in excavation preferred, not required • Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Must be physically fit and able to perform construction labor activities including: frequent use of hands, arms, legs and whole body; long periods of balance, standing or sitting; frequent walking, climbing, bending and/or lifting; constant handling of material used during the pipe installation process; heavy lifting, moving, dragging, or connecting objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
