Responsibilities: Interpreting schematics and blueprints to plan work procedures. Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing glass and mirrors. Fabricating metal frameworks for glass installation. Applying caulk, seals, and weatherproofing to installations. Using both hand and power tools effectively for glass cutting and shaping. Performing construction painting as needed for glass installations. Assisting with metal stud framing and frame carpentry when required. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Glazier or in a comparable role (at least 1 yr. exp.) Proficiency in using hand and power tools for glasswork. Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and a focus on precision. Knowledge of caulking techniques for glass installations. Clear driving record (required) Experience: Construction: 1 year (Required) Glass installation: 1 year (REQUIRED) Customer service: 1 year (Required) Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience as a Maintenance Person with construction-related skills. We are currently seeking hard-working and reliable Maintenance Workers / Laborers to join our property management team. Responsibilities: • Assist with general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the apartment community • Perform basic carpentry, painting, and repair work as assigned • Read and follow measurements using a tape measure accurately • Carry out groundskeeping tasks, such as trash pickup and seasonal upkeep • Work independently and with the maintenance team to complete projects on time • Report issues and follow instructions from the Head of Maintenance or Property Manager Requirements: • Previous maintenance, construction, or laborer experience required • Must know how to read a tape measure • Must provide own basic hand tools (wrenches, pliers, screwdriver set, hammer, tape measure, battery drill gun, battery impact driver wrench, etc.) We can also provide you a list of items that are most commonly used. We have some of the bigger, less used tools like large saws etc. • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more at times and perform physical labor as needed • Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a plus, must use your own vehicle on-site at times.
