I just finished up this 1990 Kimball 6'6" grand, and I’ve got to say—it turned out great. We gave it a full interior refurbishment and a brand-new satin black finish, and now it’s playing and looking like it just came off the line. This is a solid American-made grand from Kimball’s later years, and at 6'6", it’s got plenty of tone—rich bass, great sustain, and a responsive action that feels really satisfying to play. It’s big enough for a serious player but not so big that it takes over the whole room.
