Seeking help with programming! (berkeley)

Hello, unfortunately I personally don't know anyone that could help so I'm seeking out someone here.. My issue is with a old car stereo (1980's), that has a memory chip (KM93C46) that I'd like to read with my computer, find the code to be able to use the radio code unlocked. I've reached out to people with knowledge on how to find the code, and the code given doesn't work..We think the stereo was re-coded, and therefore the chip is now out of the board and I'm trying to read it without success. I have a CH341a programmer but it's not reading it for some reason, and I'm hoping someone here in the bay area with so many tech friendly folks can help..maybe they have a different programmer that is better than this cheap one I have.
