Great opportunity for Class C non-CDL drivers with experience who want a local job- be home every night! The Common Market Great Lakes, a mission-driven distributor of local foods, seeks a Delivery Driver for 35-45 hours per week. The Driver will be based in our warehouse in Chicago and will be responsible for delivery and pick ups throughout the Great Lakes region $21/hour, 35-45 hours per week. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES -Provide excellent service while picking up and delivering Local Farm Product -Handle Farmer Purchase Orders and Customer Invoices appropriately -Load and unload truck manually. -Guard Food Safety and Quality -Know food safety rules, check and document safe conditions -Drive and maintain equipment in excellent condition -Begin and end each truck run with established procedures -Operate equipment on vehicle to load, unload, or disperse and secure load for transport -Communicate all pickups, deliveries, and service issues with CM office -Maintain truck logs Requirements At least 1+ year of driving experience, candidates with wholesale food delivery will receive first consideration CLass C non-cdl Certification preferred and local delivery experience Experience driving 20-26' refrigerated box truck Must be 25 years old or older Excellent driving record and child abuse clearances Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to lift and pull up to 55 pounds Flexibility, a sense of humor, and a strong desire to learn Experience using computers/tablet Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 4AM-3PM Must be able to reliably start work at 4AM Benefits $21/hour, 35-45 hours per week Group Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits Retirement plan with 100% match up to 3% of total annual pay 10 Sick Days and accrued PTO Vacation $100 annual Boot Allowance to buy work boots Quarterly Safety Bonus available No phone calls please

Distribution Center Supervisor, 2nd Shift
Position Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the warehouse processes are performed correctly and accurately by creating and implementing procedures, delivery employee training and monitoring key metrics. The Warehouse Supervisor is the subject matter expert on all technical and IT systems within the warehouse and is also responsible for ensuring OSHA compliance. He/she manages the Pick/Pack/Shippers, oversees the receiving, stocking, and shipping operations and ensures that cycle counts are performed on time and accurately. The Warehouse Worker in Chatham is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all products that are received and/or shipped out of a specific location during the assigned shift. During their shift, the Warehouse Worker will assist with three main functions of the department: receiving, inventory control and cooler operations and shipping.
