Wash and Brushup, Co. is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. We are located in beautiful downtown Healdsburg and have been a part of our community for the past 12 years. We are also proud to be voted the Best Salon in Healdsburg for the past 2 years. We are looking to add a new Team member to our Receptionist team. This is a vital role in our salon. You are the first person our clients interact with as they enter the salon and you are the final person they see. Our reception position helps to assure that the salon runs smoothly and the stylists are supported so they have all they need to create the perfect experience for the client. Duties Include: Opening/Closing the salon Checking voicemail and emails Answering phone calls, providing helpful and knowledgeable service Welcoming all customers and clients that enter the salon Checking out clients and helping them reschedule future appointments Calling clients to confirm appointments Assisting with laundry and dishes Sweeping stations when needed Skills: Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills Ability to Multitask Stay calm and collected in busy situations Experience: Receptionist experience, preferred Experience working in salon, plus (not required) Starting pay $19.00/hr. plus commission on retail sales. 27-year-old woman living with cerebral palsy in her own apartment in the City of Alameda is seeking a personal care attendant(s) for the following shifts Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Wednesday overnights 11pm-7am Sunday 8am-1pm Saturday, Sunday 4p-7pm The overnight shift is awake to assist with repositioning; restroom needs or emergencies should they arise. She needs minimal assistance during transfers between her wheelchair to bedside commode and back. Full assistance with personal hygiene and other activities of daily living such as dressing, and sponge bathing, support for menses hygiene, repositioning. During daytime hours, she would like support for laundry, meal preparation and clean-up and light housekeeping. She wants someone who has the patience needed to teach her new skills and who can help solve problems to learn new tasks that may seem outside her range of current abilities. She wants to learn how to be as independent as possible. IHSS enrollment is a plus. There may be a combination of IHSS hours and agency funded hours. Full time agency employees are eligible for medical benefits with a dental plan, vacation time, 401k participation. Bonus is paid for working a minimum 4-hour shift on eligible holidays both for full and part-time employees. Part-time work may lead to full-time employment.
