What You’ll Do As an Industrial Machine Technician, you’ll help keep our production floor running smoothly by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial sized mailing and digital printing machines. This is a hands-on role where your mechanical and electrical know-how and attention to detail will directly support the success of our high-volume operations.   Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust mechanical and electronic failures using schematics, manuals, and procedures. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines and equipment. Follow all safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out and anti-static procedures. Maintain accurate records of work performed, time spent, and parts used. Collaborate with production and inventory teams to prioritize repairs and maintain equipment readiness. Diagnose issues and perform routine maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical and electronic components, including circuits and wiring, motors (servo, AC/DC brush and brushless), drive and feed belts, chains, gears and bearings, pulleys, brakes, clutches, vacuum pumps and compressors, photosensors, pneumatic hoses, fittings, and solenoids. Schedule Standard Hours: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (2nd Shift) Training Period: Schedule may vary for the first 3–6 months while training. Overtime: May be required during peak production periods, including earlier start times, later end times, and/or weekend work for preventative maintenance. Requirements What You’ll Bring 2+ years of experience as a machine technician or in a similar role. Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills. A working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Must communicate well with others and be able to read technical manuals and diagrams Experience in a print and mail production environment is a major plus. High School Diploma or GED preferred; technical training or certification is a bonus. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Regularly required to use hands and fingers to grasp and handle; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds independently.
