Description

1 Resource Group is seeking a skilled Lead Pump Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of mechanics, ensuring that all pump-related tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will leverage your expertise in pump maintenance and repair while also providing leadership and training to junior mechanics. Your primary focus will be on optimizing pump performance and managing troubleshooting processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of pump mechanics in the repair and maintenance of a wide variety of pumps and pumping systems. Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of pump systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. Oversee the assembly, disassembly, and repair of various types of pumps, including centrifugal, reciprocating, and submersible pumps. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all maintenance activities. Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the timely completion of maintenance schedules. Provide technical guidance and support to team members on complex pump-related issues. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately and thoroughly. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technology related to pump mechanics. Assist in training junior mechanics on best practices and equipment handling. Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Requirements Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; advanced technical training is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pump Mechanic, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Extensive knowledge of various types of pumps, mechanical systems, and industry standards. Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and train junior staff. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance and repair.
