The Transportation Logistics Coordinator supports the day-to-day transportation operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods, accurate shipment tracking, and compliance with customer requirements. Support Transportation Manager in daily transportation operations. Monitor and oversee on-time delivery performance against Requested Delivery Dates (RDD) and customer appointments. Coordinate with Customer Service Representatives for tracking and tracing of shipments. Manage shipment tracking and verify in-transit information for accuracy. Schedule and confirm customer appointments for deliveries and pickups. Generate, analyze, and report transportation-related KPIs to management and customers on a regular basis. Identify potential delays and take proactive measures to ensure on-time delivery. Assist in developing process improvements to enhance transportation efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and relevant transportation regulations. Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, performance metrics, and operational activities. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor Degree preferred 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations. Experience in shipment tracking, KPI reporting, and carrier/customer communications preferred. Strong knowledge of transportation scheduling and documentation requirements. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with TMS or ERP systems preferred. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
