Responsibilities Monitor and respond to security alerts and potential incidents. Investigate security breaches and recommend remediation steps. Conduct vulnerability assessments and track remediation progress. Support implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies. Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure security compliance. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, investigations, and security processes. Stay current on cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices. Requirements 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies. Familiarity with tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, CISSP) are a plus. Some hands-on experience through coursework, labs, or platforms such as Security+, ISE2 Basic, HackTheBox, TryHackMe, or other free learning tools is valued. Hybrid role: primarily remote but must be within 1 hour of Cleveland, OH for on-site support during critical incidents.
