As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role bridging customer needs and platform capabilities, turning requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions. You will design and implement integrations, plugins, and enhancements that extend the platform’s functionality to meet complex healthcare automation challenges. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will rapidly prototype solutions, validate technical approaches, and deliver production-ready implementations. This role requires balancing customer urgency with engineering excellence, while maintaining high standards for reliability, compliance, and performance. You will also contribute to the evolution of developer tools and SDKs, helping teams across the organization build faster and more effective solutions. The position combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership and collaboration in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment. Accountabilities: · Build production-ready solutions using the platform SDK, including event-driven architectures, handlers, and effects. · Transform requirements from Solutions Consultants into maintainable, scalable code that solves real healthcare workflow challenges. · Develop robust plugins, integrations, and reusable components while ensuring HIPAA compliance and clinical documentation standards. · Identify gaps in SDK capabilities and contribute to platform improvements through new features and enhancements. · Partner with core engineering teams to align custom solutions with platform roadmap and architectural standards. · Provide technical guidance, workshops, and mentorship to Solutions Consultants and other cross-functional teams. · Create technical documentation, integration guides, and reference implementations for complex solutions. Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. · 2+ years of professional software development experience with modern web stacks. · Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred). · Experience with API design, event-driven architectures, and plugin-based systems. · Strong understanding of software design patterns, testing practices, and maintainable code. · Comfortable with rapid prototyping while maintaining production-quality standards. · Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows. · Interest in healthcare technology and improving clinical workflows through automation. · Understanding of healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7) or willingness to learn quickly. · Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative approach, and customer empathy. · Nice-to-have: experience with SDK development, backend services (Python), EMR integrations, or regulatory healthcare software compliance (HIPAA, FDA guidelines).
