As an Azure Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that empower business decision-making. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, data teams, and consulting groups to transform raw data into actionable insights, supporting both internal initiatives and client-facing projects. This role involves working with modern cloud technologies, including Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Power BI, while applying best practices in data modeling, ETL, and analytics. Strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams are essential. Accountabilities: ·         Design, develop, and support ETL pipelines, operational data stores, data lakes, and data marts using Azure and related tools. ·         Implement indexing, partitioning, and data models to optimize performance and scalability. ·         Develop analytical solutions and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, and SSAS. ·         Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot technical issues, provide actionable insights, and ensure alignment with business goals. ·         Assist in pre-sales and marketing initiatives, including producing written content, webinars, and presentations. ·         Maintain development standards, implement automated testing, and follow internal project management and change control processes. ·         Stay current with Microsoft updates, cloud best practices, and emerging technologies. ·         Support migration of legacy content, integrate data sources, and provide technical guidance on complex requests. Requirements ·         Minimum of 5 years of IT experience with at least 3 years working with Azure services (Data Lake Gen1/Gen2, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database/DW). ·         5+ years of experience with T-SQL, data modeling (relational and dimensional), and large-scale data environments. ·         3+ years working with Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain and querying data with Excel (PowerPivot, Power Query) and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAS). ·         Strong skills in Python, Java, R, or C++ are a plus; experience with Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, or Common Data Service is desirable. ·         Ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems using data and provide actionable recommendations. ·         Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills; able to work independently and across teams. ·         Microsoft certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment. ·         Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and master data management practices is a plus.
