Job Title: R&D TECHNICIAN Scope: Reports to the Sr. Manager of Engineering. Scope of tasks reflect a low to moderate level of ability and experience in automotive mechanics, metal fabrication and electrical disciplines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include: • Install and test automotive brake system components • Fabricate and repair welded metal fixtures and racks • Assemble and repair machine tooling fixtures • Fabricate, repair, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot automated product testers • Conduct testing, record data, and report results per engineer’s direction • Maintain and repair company vehicles. • Compile and place parts orders for R&D Shop purposes • Provide assistance to designated Engineering personnel • Work to complete tasks correctly and on-time. Actively communicate findings, issues, delays and progress to management • Follow safety practices, SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), conduct activities with a high degree of discipline, and operate machinery safely. Communicate unsafe situations/behaviors to supervisor. • Maintain currency in latest relevant technologies • Seek professional growth and advancement through continued education Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements: • High School diploma • 2 yrs. automotive related experience • Metal fabrication and welding experience • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel • Good troubleshooting/problem solving skills • Good written, oral, and interpersonal skills • Attention to detail and good organizational skills • Operating a vehicle is an essential part of this position, therefore, the individual must be at least 21 years of age with a valid California driver’s license, and they must maintain a good driving record and minimum required insurance limits to qualify for the position. Preferred Qualifications: • Graduate from a Technical School and/or Junior College • Experience in electromechanical manufacturing and assembly • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical print reading • Experience using Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint • Knowledge/understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics • Knowledge of PLC programming Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. With the proper technique, and a focus on our client’s comfort, we keep up with their nail care and provide a much more relaxing and positive experience.   About the Job:   The role will require use of your own car to drive to each clients house and perform a nail trim and/or grind as well as any additional services they request (ear cleaning, pad moisturizing, pad shaving). Most clients are on a repetitive schedule allowing them to get to know you and become more comfortable with the services. This role will require working our pop up events. We currently have a 3hr pop-up every Saturday from 12-3pm. Additionally, we try and attend any and all pet centered events around Ventura & Los Angeles County. The pop ups are a great way to gain new clients by providing information about our services as well as providing services on-site during these events. We are looking to fill three shifts a week with hours ranging from 16-20hrs per week. The working hours are: Friday (10am-6pm) and Saturday (8am-4pm). As the company grows, so will the opportunity for more hours.   What we are looking for:   Our ideal candidate loves animals and is confident reading their body language to understand their needs and discomforts.
