Job Summary: Skillfully operate and maintain excavator and backhoe on earthwork and underground utility projects. Duties: Ability to safely and proficiently operate excavators and backhoes on various terrains • Familiarity with earthmoving, underground utility trenching and underground best practices and principles. Knowledge of waterworks, water main line installation and repairs, sewer mainline installation and repairs, septic tank installs and repairs. • Operate other types of standard heavy civil construction equipment • Various general labor tasks • Thorough equipment inspections and maintenance • Basic fueling and lubricating of equipment. POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the operations leadership, Service Technicians will be held to a high standard of service. ICEE has a commitment to success: to our customers, partners, and team members. Service Technicians are required to service all ICEE and restaurant equipment including Frozen Carbonated and Non-Carbonated dispensers, fountain beverage equipment, ice makers, juice dispensers, etc. Service Technicians will work with minimal supervision and are required to attend weekly meetings held in their Service Center. Team members in this role are provided with a vehicle, uniforms, tools, cell phone, tablet, and gas card. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Receives dispatched service calls as assigned and ensures a prompt response based on estimated time of arrival (ETA). • Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots or diagnoses service problems, and completes repairs as needed. Checks quality of all products i.e.: checking syrup levels, changing out flavors, cleaning around machines, etc. • Maintains inventory and maintenance on equipment such as: parts, tools, and the company vehicle. • Reviews service orders and service performed with the respective supervisor. Keeps his/her supervisor informed of customer concerns, needs, and up-selling opportunities. • Documents all work performed and closes out all activities upon completion. • Clearly communicates with both customers and co-workers. • Performs assigned general warehouse duties including but not limited to cleaning, organizing, rotating product, shipping and receiving of equipment, parts, and product. • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor. COMPETENCIES To perform this job successfully, the Service Technician must be self-motivated and have the ability to stay on task with minimal to no supervision. Occasional lifting in excess of 75 lbs. required. • Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time. • Must have and wear steel-toed shoes. Pay from: $24/hour Pay is commensurate with experience, education, skills, training, and certifications. ICEE ACADEMY: The ICEE Academy Training program provides essential technical training in equipment, service, and repair, typically held at the ICEE Academy in La Vergne, TN, or other designated locations. Training generally lasts two weeks, with possible weekend sessions. Attendance and eligibility are determined based on role, performance metrics, and certifications. Successful completion is required for continued employment, and failure to meet training standards may result in reassignment or termination. Regular hourly wages and applicable overtime are paid during training. You are responsible to have a valid Real-ID for travel purposes. This role will ensure patient demographic, insurance and diagnosis information is correctly entered into CDR registration systems to ensure billing ins accurate and results are provided to the ordering provider. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Interprets, orders, and generates barcode labels from the Lab LIS system and applies labels to appropriate specimen tubes and collection containers. Must be able to interpret many different physician orders and requests and select the appropriate orderable code in the Lab LIS system. Removes biological specimens from biohazard bags including blood, urine, bone marrow, body fluids, and tissue specimens. Understand all different types of collection media, preservatives, and risks of exposure to infectious agents. Handles both infectious A and B substances with appropriate CDC, and IDPH guidelines. Ability to determine if specimen was collected in appropriate collection container and media. Understands steps to resolve collection issues to ensure patient testing is performed or recollected. Receives all calls arriving in the laboratory from providers, clients, nurses, management, and patients. Logs calls in tracking software, answers all questions pertaining to phlebotomy draws, specimen collection, transport of specimens, provides lab results, supply requests, forensic autopsy cases, and administrative questions. Escalates callers to management or technical departments when necessary if unable to resolve all question Correctly enters outpatient and non-patient demographic, insurance, and diagnosis information into the hospital registration system, answering all questions in each field and updating any information that is not current. Recognizes valid diagnosis codes and follows appropriate resolution on any noncompliant codes. Inputs all faxed orders into the lab orders database, questioning any illegible order, calls physician's office with clarification of test order and patient demographics and order request (standing or one time). Follows all instructions on provider order including, add on testing and testing cancelations. Contribute to departmental operations by performing other related duties as may be required and/or assigned. Maintains and scans patient records according to government regulations and accreditation guidelines. Ensures that professional and personal activities conform to CDR Laboratories values. Evaluates specimen received verses testing ordered and confirms specimen collection was accurate and specimens are labeled with appropriate patient identifiers. Recognizes critical "stat" specimens compared to routine testing. Understands all aspects of lab safety regarding specimen handling and processing. Embodies the CDR Laboratories Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency.
