Role Summary We are looking for an experienced solar / Battery Installer or Electrician to join our solar and battery crews in the field. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a keen attention to detail, and is eager to learn and adapt to advances in renewable energy. Key Responsibilities • Install solar and battery systems with precision • Work with main service panels and tie-ins • Lay panels, install J-boxes, Inverters, and Disconnects • Maintain a clean and orderly work area • Follow safety guidelines and practices • Communicate effectively and ask questions when needed • Work comfortably from ladders and at heights Requirements: Must-Have: • 4+ years of solar field experience • NABCEP certificate a plus • General construction knowledge (roofing, electrical, carpentry) • Proficient with electrical PV systems • Proficiency with hand and power tools • A lot of experience in roof-mount solar installations • Good workmanship compliant with local codes • Own tools and a phone for scheduling and project management apps • CA driver’s license, own vehicle, and clean driving record • Legal residency and clean background check • Proficiency in reading and writing English • Physical ability to meet job requirements Nice-to-Have: • Bilingual • Electrical Trainee Certification • OSHA and CPR certifications • Military veteran Physical Requirements • Bend over repeatedly and carry more than 50 lbs • Climb up and down ladders • Work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces • Work in outdoor weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, wet environments, and humidity) How to Apply To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter with the subject line "Suns Energy" to [contact email].
