As a Rod Buster, you will be responsible for: Placing and securing steel bars or mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures. Cutting, bending, tying, and installing rebar according to blueprints and specifications. Using tools such as rebar cutters, benders, and tying equipment safely and efficiently. Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain safety standards. Requirements Experience: Minimum 5 of rod busting or related construction experience. Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks. Skills: Ability to read blueprints and construction plans is preferred. As a Concrete Finisher you're responsible for: r placing, finishing, and curing concrete to achieve smooth, level, and durable surfaces. They work on a variety of projects—such as sidewalks, driveways, floors, roads, bridges, and other structural elements—ensuring that concrete is properly shaped and meets design specifications. Experience:1–3 years in concrete finishing or a related construction trade. Technical Skills: Proficient with finishing tools (trowels, floats, edgers, screeds, power trowels) Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, kneel, bend, and work in outdoor conditions for extended periods. Knowledge: Understanding of concrete curing methods, mix designs, and finishing techniques. Soft Skills: Attention to detail, teamwork, ability to meet project deadlines. Certifications: OSHA certification or other relevant safety certifications are a plus. Availability: Must be ready to start immediately and work flexible hours if required. You may be asked to feed a mobile rock crusher with an excavator, run a loader, a trencher or a rock drill. We are seeking rock drillers to join our team. Experience preferred but not mandatory. Preferred experience working as a rock drill operator. Valid driver’s license with a driving record that includes no more than 3 moving violations and/or chargeable accidents in the last 3 years and no DUIIs. Some travel is a required. We provide transportation and hotels. Because drillers occasionally assist with blasting operations, we submit candidates to a background check through the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to screen felony records as appropriate in compliance with federal government restrictions. We will administer a pre-employment drug test and physical. For safety reasons, we have a zero-tolerance drug policy. Being able to read survey staking a plus. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Drilling rock using hydraulic drills on construction sites and rock quarry sites. Performing routine maintenance on drilling equipment. Being aware of, and alerting supervisor to the need for repairs and maintenance of equipment. Completes necessary equipment pre- and post-operation and inspections drill logs. Laying out design patterns. Occasionally assisting with blasting operations. Performing any or all other duties as necessary to satisfy job requirements. Pay depends on experience. Competitive pay.
