We are currently looking for looking for a Yard Driver/Forklift Operator to join our team. The Yard Driver helps the company organize, move, and transfer trailers and containers between Houston locations. Safely move trailers to and from loading docks, staging areas, and parking lots. Spot trailers for loading and unloading as directed by warehouse or dispatch personnel. Inspect trailers before and after movement to ensure they are in proper working condition. Maintain yard organization by placing trailers in assigned locations. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, dispatchers, and other yard drivers. Monitor trailer inventory and assist with yard checks and documentation. Operate yard tractor (spotter truck), and occasionally forklifts or pallet jacks if needed. Forklift Operator transports pallets from the warehouse dock onto the trailer/container as directed by the paperwork assigned while confirming moves with an RF scanner.  Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Load and unload materials from trucks or containers. Move materials to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks. Stack and organize products in a safe and efficient manner. Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues or malfunctions. Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Ability to detect warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the startup, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.  Performs functions of Loader, Unloader, Full Pallet Pick, Case Pick, Putaways etc.  Performs other duties as assigned.  Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license; CDL Class A with a clean record Experience operating yard trucks, hostlers, or semi-trucks in a yard environment. Knowledge of trailer types, DOT safety standards, and basic mechanical procedures. Ability to safely back trailers into tight loading docks and parking areas. Proven experience as a forklift operator or similar role. Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and organizational skills.
