Peter Lucas Project Management invests in people, community, and cutting-edge technology to provide gold standard project delivery. We are currently looking for a Project Scheduler to join our team. As a Project Scheduler, you will play a critical role in planning, monitoring, and reporting on project schedules. You will work closely with engineers, contractors, vendors, and permitting teams to ensure all activities are accurately scheduled, tracked, and aligned with project objectives. Duties and Responsibilities: Review and update the project schedule with inputs from engineering, construction, permitting, and other project teams. Provide regular updates on the project schedule, highlighting the critical path and key focus areas. Liaise with engineers, contractors, vendors, and permitting teams to incorporate updates and changes into the schedule. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including key milestones, deliverables, and dependencies. Monitor schedule progress and identify potential delays or conflicts, recommending corrective actions to project management. Prepare and present regular schedule reports to project teams and stakeholders. Support project teams in planning exercises, resource allocation, and forecasting schedule impacts. Coordinate with project controls, cost, and engineering teams to ensure schedule integration with budget and scope. Assist in risk analysis and mitigation planning related to schedule constraints. Maintain project scheduling software and documentation to ensure accurate, up-to-date records. We appreciate all applicants' interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Requirements Proven experience as a Project Scheduler, Planning Engineer, or similar role in industrial, mining, construction, or oil & gas projects. Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques, tools, and best practices. Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent). Ability to liaise effectively with engineers, contractors, vendors, and permitting teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to clearly report schedule updates and risks. Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, dynamic project environments. Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant certifications in project scheduling or project management (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP) are an asset. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
