Service, maintain, repair and install new and existing welding robotic equipment (FANUC). Troubleshoot problems with robots and welding processes and ability to fix and correct issues. Support Production and Quality teams in achieving World Class Manufacturing. Perform preventive maintenance on all manufacturing equipment. Service, maintain, repair, install and test new or existing equipment and verify conformance to specifications. (Robot/Welding/Fixtures) Complete repairs, modifications and installations as required. Provide plant support in troubleshooting of process problems including root cause and completes quality improvements as required to maintain part standards of quality. Establish cross functional team for reliability issues Deal extensively with production team and other support groups as well as vendors (both parts suppliers and equipment suppliers). Department support for testing, repairing and calibrating electric or electronic components. Validates reliability issues with components and investigates repeat component failures. Requirements Minimum of 2 year of Fanuc robotic production support using a FANUC teach pendant Robotic MIG, spot, and material handling experience preferred. Fronius and BOSCH robotic welding background preferred. Knowledge and ability to use a voltage meter.  Background with robotic dress packs preferred. Background in troubleshooting welding issues with a robotic MIG welder and robotic SPOT welder preferred. Experience with robotic adhesive and sealer programming preferred. Background in projection welding and stud welding preferred. Additional Information Overtime and shift rotation may be required to meet production expectations. The Skilled Trades Technician may be exposed to elements such as temperature and noise during time spent in the plant. Consistently safely operates forklifts, aerial lifts, floor scrubbers.  Must be able to work off a ladder, aerial lift or plant roof at heights up to 40 feet off ground level. Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 40 lbs multiple times and unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, walking or sweeping for extended periods of time. The goal of the Reliability Centered Maintenance Group is to achieve higher equipment availability and lower maintenance costs through predictive maintenance technologies. This goal is realized by regularly scheduled monitoring of equipment with predictive technologies and coordinating the necessary maintenance through teamwork with other maintenance and operations personnel, including but not limited to supervision, planning, engineering, and field personnel. This position requires travel to other facilities and interaction with vendors, contractors and company personnel; any and all business must be conducted in a professional manner as a representative This position requires a responsible, self-motivated person who is able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
