Job Summary The Floor Care Technician is responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet (including scrubbing, buffing, carpet extraction, vacuuming, etc.). The Floor Care Technician provides superior cleaning services onsite at Carlson client locations under limited supervision and works in a collaborative relationship with other Carlson Building Maintenance team members. The Floor Care Technician is a representative of Carlson and interacts with customers, store personnel and the public in a respectful and friendly manner. Job Tasks: Operating Floor Machines Sweeping Debris Cleanup Vacuuming Restroom Cleaning Quality Control Checks New Hire Training Requirements: Availability to work on weekends Reliable transportation or access to public transportation Physical Demands: Ability to regularly lift 45 pounds. Ability to push and pull floor cleaning equipment over concrete, tile and carpeted floors. Must possess sufficient physical strength, ability and stamina to perform a variety of janitorial tasks related to care of floors. Ability to work with a variety of cleaning products. Ability to work night shift and/or very early morning hours as dictated by the needs of the position. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Job Summary A Project Specialist is responsible for cleaning floors, stripping, waxing, general floor and carpet care to maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the flooring. Project Specialist provides superior cleaning services onsite at Carlson client locations under limited supervision and works in a collaborative relationship with other Carlson Building Maintenance team members. Project Specialist are also candidates for future Supervisors and Managers. Millage and time is paid when traveling between store locations Job Tasks: • Traveling to different stores to perform cleaning and waxing projects • Strip and wax floors and cleans carpeting. • Responsible for projects assigned by Manager and Supervisors. • Training of new employees. • Fill in for absent employees. • Performs other duties as assigned. Well-established landscaper has an IMMEDIATE full-time seasonal opening WITH OVERTIME to replace a lawn mowing/landscape tech who recently left for another career opportunity. Autumn weeks average over 50 hours each week with billions of leaves to move! Previous techs have earned almost $40,000 for nine months work. Applicants must be detail oriented and be able to demonstrate their experience & skills using lawn mowers, lawn edgers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, etc. A VALID driver's license is a plus. MUST BE DEPENDABLE and have reliable transportation to Mayfield Heights by 7:30am, every day.
