1969 AMC Javelin 343 V8 with 4 speed - $19,995 (Payson)

address4017 N Miller Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, USA

Description

Call or text me at 6..five..1nine..5..5..two..2..four...eight. 68,000 actual miles. Car is located in Payson, AZ. No trades please. Runs and drives well. The 343 engines are getting rarer, fewer and fewer, and more and more desirable to AMC guys. Black paint could use paint work, the clear coat is peeling on the roof and on the tops of the fenders. Could use all new interior. The tail lights have cracks. Priced accordingly. Fast car. Very fun to drive. Sounds amazing. The hood is worth $3000+. Rebuilt title. Idk why, all I know is it became a rebuilt title car 30+ years ago, in the '90's. It has power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, a 343 and a 4 speed, running and driving well. Hard to find another manual transmission Javelin in any condition anywhere in the country, let alone running and driving well, the manual trans ones are just not out there. I am a snowbird. I left 11 cars with my mechanic friend to tinker on while I was gone 6 months for the summer last year and this was basically the only car he liked and worked on over the summer. Idk what I'm try to say, basically the car has had some recent extra special attention paid to it. If I were keeping the car, the next steps I would probably do are to add a rear spoiler and paint the hood and inside the trunk and throw in some new carpet and a headliner. Not your run of the mill Javelin or stock 305 Camaro or 302 Mustang. Built 343ci. This thing rips. Take it to Irwindale Speedway Thursday nights and shake the earth, if they were still open. 1969 amc javelin with an original steel 1970 hood 1970 fender extensions and 1970 front bumper. Still has all of the rare cold air induction parts inside the hood. (people ask $2900+ tax and shipping for just a 1970 ram air javelin hood like this) Built 343ci motor with 4 speed manual trans. Power steering Power brakes front disc brakes originally an A/C car (not complete anymore) 4 speed manual trans rear posi Dana 20 3.15 gears 343ci V8 Crane Cam 864441 Roller rockers Aluminum intake Headers Slot mag wheels $$ ram air 1970 hood $$$$$$$$$$$$ New: Starter Alternator Headers $$ New Fuel tank ($690 + tax/shipping/install, so $1,000+) Full exhaust $1200+ Carb kit Front brake pads New summit 600 carb ($400+) both windows repaired so they roll and stay on track, with the solid window track repair kit that AMC dudes use. There are a lot of nice javelins that have been recently done by big name people: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8lA1hcqSy8 https://www.conceptcarz.com/s7379/amc-javelin.aspx https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-7_l9q9F8A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8lA1hcqSy8 https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/style/a16569265/theres-an-outrageous-amount-of-custom-work-on-ringbrothers-amc-javelin/ AMC parts sites: https://www.americanpartsdepot.com/ http://americanpartsdepot.net/amxjavelinindex.htm https://www.amclives.com/collections/1968-74-javelin
